With regards to my professional and personal development, there are consequences of learning about the international early childhood field. Essentially, this field encompasses childcare centers, nurseries, preschool education, Kindergartens, as well as similar institutions. For this reason, I became aware that early childhood education occurs in advance to compulsory education, be it as a harmonize part of the education system, or wholly unconventional of it.

Consequently, the early childhood field helps to revolutionize the lives of children globally, and its aim is to ensure that all young children enter school, so that they can succeed in life. Moreover, the process of covering the early childhood education span a variety of topics such as multicultural affairs, the sustainable development and learning of children, current affairs in the field of early childhood education and care, and questions concerning the curriculum.

Three consequences I have chosen are:

·        Attaining applied participation in the field of early childhood care and education, by achieving supremacy of the differing constituent areas, as well as learning to establish and attune learning conditions that enable all young children to develop to their extreme capability.

·        Networking weekly with my international colleagues, to impart explorations and conclusions on various issues and topics pertaining to early childhood care and education. This has enabled us to be better prepared to work in concerted efforts with families and other coaching experts, and professionals from affiliated disciplines and diverse backgrounds, in order to arrange for learning possibilities for children, modifying potentials and requirements in an array of context.

·        Target vulnerable children in societies with the most unfavorable conditions, and clear some of the misconceptions concerning the early childhood field. Actions will be taken to guarantee the rights of all young children to acquire access to standard primary education; for the early childhood field leads to a lifetime of achievements, and break the cycle of disparity that triumph in the lives of so many children and their families. Therefore, young children must be given the rights to quality-education, so provision has to be made for them to model the most of their educational moments when they enroll in school.

However, one goal for the field that is related to international awareness of issues and trends, and the spirit of collegial relations is:

·         To become the fundamental voice about research on children, childhood, and early childhood education across diverse communal and cultural environments, and highly subscribe to the universal consultation on advance education. Likewise, to construct an extensive early childhood education workforce, assisted by policies to coach and preserve quality teachers, administrator, and providers.

I took the opportunity to peruse the webpage of the United Nation Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) http://www.unesco.org/new/en/education/themes/strengthening-education-systems/early-childhood, and obtained insights on issues related to international early childhood education that has connection with my professional goals, which are: (1) the completion of my Master's Degree in less than two days. (2) continue making constructive contributions to the teaching service, while adding value to the profession, making changes in the classroom instruction by promoting growth in students' learning, and (3) working towards being among the highest echelon of professionals in the early childhood education field in my country, as well as abroad. Issues that would be looked at on early childhood are: (1) Access and equity (2) children's rights are human rights, and (3) quality.

In early childhood education, equity is alluded to fairness, which focuses on an equilibrium of two divergent sets of rights: (1) the right to be given the opportunity to present at an early childhood environment (2) the right to be involve and be enacted proportionately within that setting. Moreover, Jomtien Declaration for Education for All (1990) postulates that learning commences at confinement. However, ten years later, the Dakar Framework for Action (2000) redeclared the essential of early childhood, by encompassing the advancement of early childhood care and education, which is the predominant of its six principal objects. Attention is directed to children from various countries who are the most defenseless and drawback, by broadening and reforming extensive early childhood care and education. Moreover, governments were specifically compelled to develop fair approach to standard early childhood maintenance, by underlining the fundamental of establishing code of conducts in support of the destitute. Furthermore, territories that are mostly disadvantaged, should receive a fair and just distribution of resources among different population, from the central governments.

Obviously, a child is a human being under the age of eighteen, and children's rights are the human rights of children with specific concern to the rights of exceptional safety and care, manage to give to subordinates. However, the most extensive recognized human rights agreement is the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was validated by one hundred and ninety three (193) countries. In this convention, the child is being contemplated as an individual, a community and family member with age pertinent rights and trustworthiness. As a result, the right to education is one of the rights that enshrined in the Convention that makes the exercise of all the other human rights possible.

Certainly, young children especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds will have their health improve, and their development and learning promoted through high-quality early education and child care. Beneficial elements to reflect on when quantifying early childhood care and education comprise pedagogy materials, personal training, service setting, and parental education and involvement. Learning materials should be quantitatively, culturally and developmentally adequate and focus on child centered interaction. All workers in the early childhood care and education field are from diverse backgrounds.

The working situations and sufficient training are fundamental, so as to amalgamate the constituent and operation in the field, which will address the alteration to conventional schooling. The physical infrastructure and service setting in various countries may differ. However, appropriate play and learning materials, as well as vigorous participation from parents and communities, will guarantee that early childhood services persists significantly to the needs of the children and all other

After perusing the various outside links, the Global Fund for Children (GFC) became the focal point for me to use and conduct my research. The role of the Global Fund for Children is to revolutionize the lives of children on the kerb of society: - children who are being traded; displaced children; children as wage earners; - and assisting them in reclaiming their rights, and strive for their aspiration. In other words, the Global Fund for Children (GFC) makes an effort to allow kids to be kids, regardless what their situation is.
The Global Fund for Children (GFC) venture in grassroots corporations that make it possible for the most resilient children in their communities to make strides. Their tactical reinforcement aid their grantees accomplish their perception, keep maintaining and contacting even more children in demand. Its representation can be condensed in three steps: scout, support, and strengthen.
·         Scout - Officers in the program are regional professionals who place their feet on the ground, searching for syndicated that work for children in the world, who are the most marginalized.
·         Support - They venture in syndicates that are undercapitalized, and contribute to dangerous services to defenseless children. Making early speculation, assisting their partners in building up character, leaving them bigger, stronger, and waiting to work as community reserves in the future.
·          Strengthen - Their perception that money is not sufficient - for change to last, vibrant leadership and healthy organizational development will be needed.
Since the establishment of the Global Fund for Children, over eight million children worldwide lives have been touched. Instead if children working, they are going to school. Many of them get away from the chains of slavery, shield themselves from HIV, and obtain the childhood they justify.
In the (GFC) newsletter featured news: - Global Fund for Children in Huffington Post: - Honor Women's History by Investing in Girls Futures, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Washington - Kristin Lindsey looked at Women's History Month which is in March, and centered her attention to the resilient young girls. Generally, women have made great steps towards parity, but the reality persists that too many young girls in the developing world live in situations that are unjust and dangerous. These unprotected girls are child brides. About one third of all young girls in developing nations are married before they turn eighteen, and in certified countries, the number climbs even higher.

Consequently, the prospective for child bride is a lifetime of ignorance and a radically increased risk of dying from difficulty during pregnancy or childbirth. Some have never put foot into a classroom because they work as domestic workers, others become servants to support the household due to families' obligation, and many are traffic into the job and are essentially slaves. Undoubtedly, all child maids are deprived of an education and a nurturing environment in which to grow up.
After exploring the newsletter, I came to the realization that the young girls in the world are most resilient. Their needs are urgent and serious, hence, the reason for the Global Fund for Children being so dedicated to seeking out and supporting grassroots organizations, with reform ideas about how to address the needs of girls in their community.

Getting To Know Your International Contacts - Part 2

On Wednesday 3rd April, 2013, I have received an email from Early Childhood Australia (ECA) WebWatch. ECAWebWatch #159 features available online resources. The main focus of this website is on: The best of early childhood news! Certainly, the numbers of early childhood education is rising, because on Sunday 31st March, 2013, there was a release on the latest Child Care Update, substantiating recorded number of Australian children attending early childhood education and care. Undoubtedly, $20.6 billion was directly spent by the Federal Government, with assisting in the early childhood field.
However, Kate Ellis - The Early Childhood Minister, is certain that more can be done to guarantee the issue of accessibility is saluted. The childcare update report further stated that one quarter of children under the age of twelve in Australia are using the services of childcare. More than ever before in Australia, families are utilizing the childcare services, since the federal report claimed that nearly one million children nationwide are in approved centers. Likewise, the release verify that more than seven hundred thousand (700,000) families in fifteen thousand centers (15,000) were obtaining childcare services, while an additional twenty-two thousand, four hundred children acquire childcare in the year to June, 2012.
Minister Kate Ellis postulated that what she has observed in the history of the nation is that more children are getting the opportunity to attend childcare in more services than ever before. She also posited that families in her country (Australia) are precisely acquiring attainment of a more adaptable, manageable, easy to reach childcare system of higher quality supports. Whereas, the increase in the workload is felt by early childhood educators who have to work long period of hours, so as to keep up with the National Quality Framework (NQF) regulations. An appraisal conducted by the Australian Education Union, claims that early childhood educators discovered that ninety percent endorse that the increase workloads were an issue, but one of the objectives of the NQF was to abridge the weight of directive in services.
Additionally, information about issues of equity and excellence I have acquired from my international sources are:   (1) Megan Michelle is the new National Children's Commissioner in Australia. She has a five year term with the Human Rights Commission, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) will be used to support her work.  (2) In spite of surplus funding from the Government, a latest study conducted by the Australia Institute has disclosed that families are still struggling with the cost of early childhood education. Consequently, an evaluation from the institute justifies that affordability is the most pressing matter to be discussed for families in Australia, while the government sought to address accessibility of childcare through more adjustable hours and quality through better wages for childcare workers.
